HOW CPW MEETINGS WORK

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission sets regulations and policies affecting Colorado’s wildlife, parks, and outdoor recreation. Its meetings are where commissioners hear proposals, receive public input, and make many of the decisions that shape fishing in the state.

Meeting agendas, locations, and opportunities for public comment change throughout the year. For the most current schedule and participation information, always refer to the official CPW website.

why comments matter

Public comment gives you a chance to do something meaningful. The Commission makes decisions that can change how live bait is sold and used in Colorado. Tell commissioners how those decisions could affect the waters you fish before a vote is taken.
